Workshop Summary
This workshop addresses
the question: “How can one effectively lead global,
highly distributed teams to achieve the improved
business results needed to gain advantage in today’s
market?” Day by
day, the global competitive landscape is becoming
smaller and flatter. However, small, flat, and level are
not synonyms for easy or effective. As our national
boundaries blur and people in distant locations become
more connected, the dynamics of project execution grow
increasingly complex in almost every dimension.
This situation offers
challenges, confusion, and frustration – but also great
opportunities for those who learn to deal with it and to
use it to their advantage!
The key to achieving an advantage and subsequent
improved business results does not hinge on strategies
alone, but also in our ability to effectively lead
global product and service project teams to successfully
work together to plan and execute the strategies despite
differences in culture, values and ways of working.
This workshop addresses these challenges and
barriers, and teaches you best practices and new,
innovative methods to maximize global team development
and performance.
Because of the
extensive global team leadership experience of the
workshop leaders, this workshop will be highly
interactive and adapted to the unique needs, questions,
and situations of the participants.
